I have to purchase all framework material from Northern Design?
No, but it is in your best interest to have us supply as much
of the frame as possible since the computer program can coordinate
all the pieces to fit together correctly.

Could
I just buy a truss package?
Yes, we would be happy to supply trusses to your specs and
delivered to your building site. Many also add rake assemblies
and sheathed gables with Tyvek. It's your choice, we'll supply
as much or as little as you would like.

Can
I use any brand of window in the pre-built wall panels?
Yes. We will design the walls using the brand and style of
windows you specify or we can make suggestions. A window schedule
with correct placement and size specifications from your window
manufacturer will be needed when you select your own windows.

Do
I get layouts with any pre-built system?
Yes, all phases are supplied with technical layouts and diagrams.
Floor, wall panel and roof trusses each come with their own
diagrams. When comparing costs take that into consideration
since many suppliers do not include the layouts and diagrams
in their costs. You should have a full set of layouts and
diagrams for your project builder to reference.

How
are the pre-built systems delivered?
Most orders are delivered direct from the factory with roll
deck trailer and semi-trucks. The driver will do his best
to get into the construction site. Trees, tight driveways
with curves make the job harder, if not impossible for a roll
deck trailer to deliver the load directly to the building
site. At times loads have to be dropped at the end of the
road if the site is not accessible. We, the driver nor the
manufacturer can be held responsible for damages incurred
due to an inadequate driveway or costs incurred to have materials
transported from the road to the building site. We will be
glad to visit your site and make recommendations prior to
delivery.
